To celebrate Agrasen Jayanti, the Manasarovar Sakha branch of Agarwal Samaj in Telangana organized a Chess and Carrom tournament. It was the first time the organization hosted such an event in the twin cities. The tournament had 65 participants in Chess, ranging from below 10 years old to above 70 years old, and about 35 participants in Carroms. Winners in all categories received cash prizes, certificates, medals, and trophies.

In the male category of Chess, Vedant Agarwal, who is below 10 years old, won first place, while Vedhika Goel claimed the top spot in the female category. Special recognition was given to super seniors Ghansyam Saraf and Rahul Singhal. Awards were also presented to Jeet, Vibhor, Nivaan, Advid, Priyansh, Vanshika, Shlok, and Chirag in the super juniors category. In the Carrom competition, Raj Gopal Agarwal emerged as the winner in the male category, and Kamlesh Mittal secured first place in the female category.

Nitin Sureka, the Convenor, stated that the main objective of the event was to motivate and create awareness about various games. The final match of the chess tournament was particularly exciting, with five matches ending in a draw. An additional round was played, which also resulted in a draw. Finally, an extra five minutes were given, and the winner was determined during that time. There are plans to include more indoor games in the event next year. The event was attended by Anjani Kumar, former president of Agarwal Samaj, Kapoor Chand Agarwal, Secretary of Agrawal Samaj, Kanchan Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Naveen Agarwal, Treasurer, and Rakesh Jalan, Sport Committee Chairman. Sponsors Vikas Kesan from Keshan Industries LLP and Rakesh Jalan from Mickey Sri Balaji Plastic Industries were also present.

Agarwal Samaj Telangana has around 84 branches throughout the state with more than 6000 members. The Paradise branch is one of the branches of Agarwal Samaj. Umesh Agarwal, the convenor of the program, mentioned that as part of the Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav celebration, the Paradise Shakha organized a painting and singing competition for children and elders at Haryana Bhavan in Secunderabad on October 1, 2023. The program started with a Pooja in the Mata temple at Haryana Bhavan, followed by a Pooja for Sri Agrasen ji performed by the office bearers and members present.

As part of the celebration, an Akhand Jyoti Rath Yatra was initiated, which will travel to all branches in Telangana in a grandly decorated chariot. The chariot arrived at Haryana Bhavan for Pooja, and all the members present warmly welcomed it and performed Pooja.
