The Andhra Pradesh High Court has postponed the hearing on the anticipatory bail petition of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road (IRR) case to November 7. The Court has also extended the stay on the PT warrant issued by the ACB court in the same case.
Earlier, the Court extended the anticipatory bail until October 18 and instructed the AP CID not to arrest Naidu in the IRR case until Wednesday. Now, with the hearing postponed to November 7, the CID will have to wait for further orders until that day.
In a previous ruling, the Court denied anticipatory bail to co-accused P Narayana, his wife P Ramadevi, brother-in-law Sambasiva Rao, and ‘benami’ Prameela.
The AP CID filed a case against Nara Lokesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and P Narayana based on a complaint lodged by YSRCP Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in 2022.
