Chandrababu Naidu Initiates Investigation into Tirumala Laddu Adulteration Incident

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has ordered a high-level investigation into allegations of laddu adulteration at the Tirumala temple.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with ministers and officials to discuss the issue. He instructed the Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Shyamala Rao, to submit a detailed report by Friday evening.

Chandrababu Naidu warned that strict action would be taken if the sanctity of the temple or the sentiments of devotees were harmed in any way.

Union Minister and BJP National President, JP Nadda, also reacted to the situation. He requested a thorough report on the matter. Union Food Minister, Prahlad Joshi, expressed concern and urged the Andhra Pradesh government to investigate the incident and take action against those responsible. He emphasized that this was a sensitive issue affecting the feelings of devotees.

In a related development, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje made allegations against the previous government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. She claimed that efforts were made to remove photos of Lord Venkateswara (Srivari) from colleges in Tirumala and replace them with non-Hindu symbols on Saptagiri. Additionally, lawyer Vineet Jindal filed a complaint with the Union Home Ministry, accusing Jagan of undermining Hindu beliefs.
