TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan met Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar to discuss their complaints against the ruling YSRCP Government in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu said they explained all the issues clearly to the Election Commission during their meeting. They raised concerns about the atrocities happening under the YSRCP Government and alleged manipulation of voter lists.
Naidu appealed to the ECI to allocate officials for election duty based on national best practices. He questioned the expertise of women police officials assigned as Booth Level Officers and demanded the deployment of central police observers if needed. He also requested the ECI to set up a separate cell to monitor the election process and root out irregularities.
Additionally, Naidu brought to the attention of the ECI that government officials, including district collectors, have been participating in an election campaign promoting the YSRCP president.
