Hyderabad: On the occasion of Ugadi, astrologer Rajeshwara Siddhanti made predictions based on the traditional Panchangam (almanac) at the BRS party office, Telangana Bhavan, on Sunday.
He said that the government may face challenges this year, and there may be a lack of cooperation between the State and Central governments. Leaders could focus more on keeping their positions than on public welfare.
However, he shared positive predictions for BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao, saying he is likely to remain in good health and may even become the Chief Minister again.
Siddhanti also predicted that there will be good rainfall this year, although the monsoon might begin late. He warned of possible natural disasters in the North Eastern states.
On the agriculture front, cotton and crops grown in red soil are expected to do well. He also predicted that India could become a leader in the textile industry. Interestingly, even enemies may turn into friends during this period, he added.
