MLA Sriganesh Visits Tirumalagiri RTO to Address Road Expansion Concerns
Cantonment MLA Sriganesh visited the Tirumalagiri Regional Transport Office (RTO) today to review the impact of an upcoming road expansion project. The expansion threatens to take over a large portion of the RTO premises, which could disrupt its operations.
The RTO currently occupies a 3-acre area, but the project could result in the loss of nearly 75 percent of its roadside structure. During his visit, MLA Sriganesh interacted with the RTO staff to understand the challenges they face due to this potential change.
The MLA emphasized the importance of the RTO’s services, pointing out that the office caters to a large number of people daily for various purposes. He stressed that an inadequate or poorly designed office would create unnecessary difficulties for the public.
To address the issue, Sriganesh announced his commitment to finding a solution. He assured that he would take the lead in rebuilding the RTO office promptly. His goal is to create a modern facility that could serve as a model for government offices across the state.
The visit was attended by key personnel, including In-charge RTO Swamy, Motor Vehicle Inspector Jaya Chander, and other staff members like Narasimhaswamy and Avinash. They expressed their support for the MLA’s initiative and shared their concerns about the current situation.
MLA Sriganesh’s proactive steps aim to ensure that the RTO continues to function efficiently while meeting the needs of the public.
