Cake Mixing Ceremony Commences at Hotel Daspalla in Hyderabad

Hotel Daspalla Hyderabad hosted a “Cake Mixing Ceremony” to kick off the Festive Season of 2023. This tradition has been maintained by the hotel for many years. The Culinary Team of the Hotel collected and prepared a large amount of essential ingredients like raisins, almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, pistachios, cranberries, blackberries, dates, prunes, etc. These ingredients were arranged and then mixed with spirits.

The General Manager of Hotel Daspalla Hyderabad, Rohit Ahuja, explained that they wanted to involve school children in this ceremony since Christmas is a festival primarily for children. This year, they invited students from Child Haven International School, a residential school for orphans at Kismatpur. Children from Class VI to VII joined the ceremony and had a great time mixing the cake ingredients with the Daspalla Team. The Music Director and Singer of Tollywood, Raghu Kunche, also made a gracious appearance during the ceremony.

The mixed ingredients will be marinated in the spirits for around 45 days before being used to make Christmas cakes and puddings. After the ceremony, a delicious lunch was served to all the attendees. Rohit Ahuja thanked everyone, including the children, hotel guests, and other attendees. The hope is that the children will cherish the experience of this ceremony for years to come.
