Cab Driver Killed at Medipally Hostel in Suspected Love Triangle Dispute

A 38-year-old cab driver named Mahender Reddy was tragically killed at a hostel in Medipally early Saturday morning. Police believe the incident was the result of a suspected love triangle involving the hostel owner.

Mahender, who used to live at the hostel, had formed a romantic relationship with the woman who owned and managed the property. Although he later moved to Jangaon, he continued to visit the hostel regularly to meet her.

Trouble began when a man named Kiran Reddy moved into the hostel as a new resident. Mahender suspected that Kiran and the woman were romantically involved, which led to rising tensions.

On Friday night, Mahender visited the hostel and found Kiran with the woman. This led to a heated argument. The situation escalated when Kiran attacked Mahender with a kitchen utensil, inflicting fatal injuries.

The Medipally police were alerted and quickly arrived at the scene. Mahender’s body was sent to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered, and both Kiran Reddy and the woman have been taken into custody for questioning. Investigations into the incident are ongoing to uncover further details.
