Peddapalli MLA Launches New Bus Services
Peddapalli MLA Chinthakunta Vijayaramana Rao launched new bus services from Jammikunta to Karimnagar on Thursday. The new bus routes are intended to make it easier for passengers to travel between these areas.
The bus route will start from Karimnagar and pass through several villages, including Roopunarayanapet, Sanagonda, and Pothkapalli in Odela mandal, before reaching Sultanabad and Jammikunta.
Villagers were thankful to the MLA for providing the bus service, and they honored him during the event.
The MLA highlighted that the State government has provided free travel on RTC buses for all women in the State. He also mentioned that the people of Rupunarayanapet and Gollapally had informed him about the lack of bus services in their areas. After discussing the issue with the Huzurabad depot manager, he arranged for the new bus service.
Additionally, MLA Vijayaramana Rao announced that after Dussehra, work on a new bridge at Rupunarayanapet will begin, and it is expected to be completed within two years. A survey has also been conducted for the construction of a flyover over the railway track between Roopunarayanapet and Gollapally.
The MLA assured that efforts would continue to improve transportation facilities for people in remote villages. To mark the occasion, he bought the first ticket and traveled a short distance on the newly launched bus.
