Karimnagar: Former MLA of Husnabad, Odithela Sathish Kumar, urged members of the BRS party to work diligently to secure victories in the upcoming local body elections, just as they have done in the past.

Speaking at a BRS party workers’ meeting in Husnabad on Saturday, Sathish Kumar criticized the Congress and BJP parties. He stated that both parties failed to deliver on the promises they made during elections. He also condemned the Central and State governments for delaying the implementation of their promises.

Sathish Kumar called for the resignation of both the Central and State governments if they continue to fail in fulfilling their promises. Addressing the party workers, he emphasized the need to expose the shortcomings of the Congress and BJP governments to the public.

He encouraged BRS party workers to use social media to highlight the failures of the Congress government. “Inform the people, and work hard to ensure the BRS party’s victory in the upcoming local body elections,” he urged.

Sathish Kumar also pointed out that several promises made by the government, such as waiving farmers’ loans and providing gas subsidies, have not been fulfilled. He mentioned that programs like Gruha Lakshmi for house construction are not progressing, and people are still waiting for increased Aasara pensions, ration cards, and health cards.

He specifically questioned when the Mahalakshmi scheme, which promised Rs 2500 per month to women, would be implemented.

Sathish Kumar further alleged that the Congress party misled people with false promises to gain power, unable to tolerate the success of the BRS government’s welfare schemes.

He concluded by saying that people are now aware of the reality and are no longer swayed by the false promises of Congress and BJP. He expressed confidence that the people of Telangana would support the BRS party, leading to a landslide victory in the upcoming elections.
