BRS politicians turn to KTR for solution to their problems

Sulking leaders in the BRS are hoping that party working president KT Rama Rao will address their concerns. Currently, Rao is busy with investment meetings during his foreign tour.

Over 20 constituencies within the party are unhappy with the candidates chosen by the leadership. They are requesting for a change in order to achieve better results. Some sitting members have been denied tickets, while local leaders in other constituencies are demanding a change in the incumbent.

The issue of Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao is still unresolved. It is expected to be addressed after the return of KTR. Mynampally is also seeking a ticket for his son from the Medak constituency. He expressed his frustration towards Minister T Harish Rao when his son did not receive the ticket. During a press conference, BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao stated that unhappy leaders have the option to leave the party.

Former Deputy Chief Minister T Rajaiah is waiting for the return of BRS working president to discuss his concerns. Rajaiah is upset with the ticket given to Kadiyam Srihari. There were reports of Rajaiah leaving the party due to his involvement in a community-based meeting. Sources suggest that the BRS MLA is waiting for an opportunity to speak with the minister.

Patancheru ticket aspirant Nilam Madhu Mudiraj, who did not receive a ticket, is also waiting for the return of the BRS leader. Mudiraj recently visited Pragathi Bhavan with Minister T Harish Rao, where he was assured that the issue would be resolved upon Rama Rao’s return from the US trip.

The BRS working president is currently on a foreign visit and participating in meetings to attract investments to the state. Sources indicate that he will be returning in a couple of days.

Other leaders, including Jangaon MLA Mutireddy Yadagiri Reddy, are also waiting for the return of the BRS working president to seek his guidance. The Jangaon seat is currently pending, and there are speculations that the MLA will be denied the ticket.

Some leaders are requesting the party to reconsider their chosen candidates. In Uppal, party leaders do not want the ticket to be given to B Lakshma Reddy. In Mahbubabad, they do not want Shankar Naik to receive the ticket. In Kodada, they do not want Bollam Mallaiah Yadav to be chosen, and in Ramagundam, leaders are against K Chander. During previous elections, Rama Rao was able to pacify the leaders and align them with the party’s decisions. Leaders expect him to do the same this time.
