BRS Party Holds Successful Protest in Aiza Mandal, Demands Immediate Loan Waiver for Farmers.

In Gadwal, a large protest was organized by the BRS Party at the Aiza Mandal headquarters. The protest was in response to a call by BRS Party Working President KTR, demanding that all farmers’ loans be waived immediately and without any conditions. The event was led by district coordinator Kuruva Pallayya, who stated that the BRS Party would keep fighting against the Congress government until every farmer’s loans are fully waived.

Before the protest, BRS leaders and farmers performed a symbolic act by pouring milk on the statue of Telangana Thalli at Telangana Chowrasta in Aiza. This act was in response to derogatory remarks made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy against Telangana Thalli.

The protest rally began at Telangana Thalli Chowrasta and moved towards Petrol Bunk Chowrasta. There, the participants held a sit-in demonstration. The event was organized under the leadership of District Coordinator Kuruva Pallayya and included key figures such as Municipal Chairman Devanna, Single Window Chairman Madhusudhan Reddy Meramma, former Market Yard Chairman Vishnuvardhan Reddy, and constituency leader Premlatha Pallayya, among others.

During the protest, Kuruva Pallayya criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for not fulfilling his promise to waive farmers’ loans. He accused the Chief Minister of misleading farmers by initially promising to waive Rs. 31,000 crores in loans but only delivering Rs. 17,933 crores. Pallayya demanded that Revanth Reddy resign for failing to keep his promises to the farmers.

Pallayya also pointed out that the Congress government had promised to waive loans for 2 lakh farmers within the first 100 days and to implement six guarantees. However, only half of the farmers have received this benefit so far. He questioned the Chief Minister’s credibility and challenged Revanth Reddy to fulfill his promises.

In addition, the BRS Party has set up a helpline number for farmers who have not yet received their loan waivers. According to Pallayya, approximately 90,000 farmers have reported that their loans have not been waived.

This protest is part of the BRS Party’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all farmers receive the promised benefits. The party has vowed to continue its struggle until the Congress government delivers on its promises.
