Several BRS leaders criticized Andhra Pradesh ministers for their comments against Finance Minister T Harish Rao. Telangana Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash Mudiraj defended Harish Rao and said the AP ministers were talking nonsense. He added that Harish Rao had participated in protests and has administrative experience, unlike the AP ministers. Prakash advised the AP ministers to be careful while they speak and to remember they have to come to Hyderabad.
MLA S Saidi Reddy also spoke out against the Andhra Pradesh minister’s comments and said that AP ministers have become angry for no reason. He called Harish Rao an example for all ministers in the country and said that the AP ministers were attacking Telangana self-respect. Reddy claimed that if the AP ministers don’t change their attitude, people in AP will spit on them.
Andhra Pradesh BRS president T Chandrasekhar said that the Centre came down on the Vizag Steel Plant only after protest by BRS. He added that while the TDP and YCP raised their hands in AP, only BRS stood with people of AP. The BRS leader also demanded the Centre to cancel the allocations of mines in Bailadila.
