Leaders of the BRS party have come out in support of Finance Minister T Harish Rao and are demanding action against Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao. BRS leaders, including Government chief whip Bhanu Prasad Rao and Government whip MS Prabhakar, spoke to the media at the Assembly premises. They condemned Mynampally’s comments against Harish Rao and stated that it is not appropriate to speak against a leader who played a role in the Telangana agitation. Bhanu Prasad also criticized Mynampally for discussing politics at a place like Tirumala. MS Prabhakar demanded an apology from the MLA to the minister and the entire party, and said they will file a complaint with the party’s secretary general to take action against Mynampally.
