BRS is the only party capable of delivering on promises, opposition falls short

Medak: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao criticized the Congress party for seeking another chance and failing to fulfill their promises in Karnataka. Speaking at a public gathering in the Medak district, he initiated the election campaign and announced his party’s candidates.

KCR took a swipe at both the BJP and the Congress for their policies. Despite facing a loss of Rs 25,000 crore, the government resisted the BJP’s plan to install meters on motors. On the other hand, the Congress, who won in Karnataka, initially promised 24-hour power supply but reduced it to 7 hours while asking for another chance to lead. KCR criticized the Congress for making hollow promises and pointed out their inconsistency in pension amounts. While his own party could promise higher amounts, he emphasized that they wouldn’t deceive the people.

KCR urged citizens to reject leaders who advocated for the removal of the Dharani portal, as it could hinder farmers’ access to important programs. He highlighted the benefits of the Dharani system and its transformative power for farmers. Regarding loan waiver, he acknowledged that demonetization delayed the government’s ability to provide timely benefits but assured that loans amounting to Rs 37,000 crore have been waived so far.

KCR expressed optimism about the recovery of farmers and projected stability in agriculture within six to seven years. He urged farmers to continue growing and make Telangana a surplus state.

In Medak district, KCR announced several sops for the people. He called upon the people to ensure the victory of Padma Devender Reddy by a big margin. He announced a special fund of Rs 10 lakh each to 469 Gram Panchayats in Medak and allocated funds for various municipalities and divisions. He also announced the establishment of a Degree College and Ring Road, among other developments, in different areas of Medak district.
