Hyderabad: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy criticized TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy’s statement that three hours of power supply is enough. Reddy assured that the BRS government will continue to provide 24-hour power supply. He accused the Congress of being against farmers and mentioned that Congress-ruled states currently only provide six hours of power. Reddy labeled Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders as enemies of Telangana farmers.
Reddy clarified that Revanth Reddy’s comments were not personal but were made on behalf of the Congress party, as he had spoken to party leader Rahul Gandhi before making those statements. He also pointed out that the Congress party failed to fulfill their promise of providing nine hours of power to farmers. Reddy claimed that traces of TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu can still be found within the Congress party.
