Brinda Karat | Not a Double Engine Government.. Bulldozer Government.. CPI(M) Leader Brinda Karat Fires at the Centre

Brinda Karat | Mahabubabad Rural, June 18: Members of the CPI(M) Polit Bureau, led by Brinda Karat, visited the Telangana Praja Sanghal Porata Vedika in Mahabubabad on Sunday. During the meeting, Brinda Karat spoke about how the BJP, who are in power at the center, are implementing policies that favor only the ruling class. She criticized the Modi government for not implementing any schemes for the welfare of the marginalized sections of society.

Brinda Karat also mentioned that the BJP claims to support a double-engine government, where they want to have the same party in power at both the center and the states. However, she pointed out that in states like Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, the BJP is in power at the center and the states but no progress has been made there. She also criticized the BJP for falsely promising development while deceiving the common people.

Brinda Karat expressed her concern about the increasing number of suicides among farmers and the poor in the country. She said that the central government should focus on providing financial aid to Telangana instead of giving speeches. She also stated that the BJP is trying to spread hatred against Chief Minister KCR and his government in Telangana. She urged everyone to unite against the divisive politics of the BJP and fight for the rights of the common people.

Brinda Karat criticized the BJP for favoring corporate and wealthy individuals at the expense of the common people. She said that the BJP is trying to suppress the voices of tribals, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and minorities. She also criticized Prime Minister Modi for not explaining what he means by “Achhe Din” (good days) during his tenure. She said that every individual in the country has the right to live a dignified life, and the CPI(M) will work towards ensuring that their rights are upheld.

Brinda Karat mentioned that the central minister Kishan Reddy has been giving speeches, claiming that he has provided funds to Telangana multiple times. However, she said that the central government has not allocated enough funds for the state and instead cut down on development funds. She urged the people of Telangana to come together and fight for their rights, emphasizing that every individual in the country deserves to live a life of dignity.
