Karimnagar: On Sunday, a breast cancer awareness marathon was organized in honor of Pink October. The event was conducted by Prathima Hospital and Prathima Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of General Surgery.
The marathon started from Mankammathota IMA Hall and ended at Ambedkar Stadium. Along the way, participants passed important landmarks such as Geetha Bhavan and the Collectorate.
A large number of students and staff from Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences took part in the event. They actively raised awareness by chanting slogans focused on preventing breast cancer.
Several notable figures joined the program, including Dr. Ravinder Rao, the Director of Medical Education at Prathima Institute, CAO Ramachandra Rao, Professor of General Surgery Dr. Geetha Reddy, and OSD Dr. TKK Naidu.
