From now on, the government is making efforts to provide land rights to the tribals. The decision was taken by the cabinet chaired by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, in a meeting held in this regard. The government has decided to issue land rights certificates to 1,50,224 farmers on 4,01,405 acres of land belonging to the tribals in 2,845 villages, hamlets, and forests across the state.

In order to implement the land rights certificates for the tribal farmers, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has instructed the concerned departments to make necessary arrangements. The Department of Tribal Welfare has provided details of eligible tribal farmers to the Department of Agriculture. The Department of Agriculture is currently preparing bank accounts for the farmers in various banks in the field. The government has initiated measures to issue land rights certificates to the tribal farmers in 26 districts across the state for a period of seven days from June 24th to June 30th.
