The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekhar Rao, announced new benefits for Brahmins at the opening of a new building called Brahmana Sadan. This building is located on a large 7-acre property in Hyderabad and is the first of its kind in the country. The facility will offer spiritual, cultural, and other services to the community.

One of the benefits announced is that poor Brahmins can now perform marriages of their children in the sadan. Additionally, a big library will be established and a spiritual center will emerge. The government has allotted Rs 100 crore for the parishad.

The Chief Minister also announced an increase in the wages of Poor Vedic pandits to Rs 5000 from Rs 2500. The Doopa Depa Nivadyam scheme will be extended to another 2000 temples, totaling 6000. The wages for doopa dipa nivadyam temple priests will also be increased to Rs 6000 from Rs 10,000.

Annual grants will be given to Veda schools and fee reimbursement will be provided to higher education students. Lastly, the Brahmana parishad will work as a felicitating center for the community.
