The Boys Sports Company (BSC) at the Artillery Centre in Hyderabad will be holding an open rally from February 21 to 27 to recruit new players in Athletics and Handball. BSC is a collaboration between the Sports Authority of India and the Indian Army to identify and develop talented athletes for future international competitions.
The selection trials will test the physical abilities and technical skills of the candidates in Athletics and Handball. There will also be a medical examination conducted by Board Officers. To participate, candidates must be between 8 to 14 years old as of February 21, 2024, and have at least a 3rd standard education with knowledge of English and Hindi.
National-level medalists in athletics and handball who are below 16 years old and studying in 6th to 9th grade can take part in the preliminary rally. The candidates’ medical fitness will be assessed by the Medical Officer at the Artillery Centre and a SMC team during the selection process. Candidates with permanent tattoos on their bodies are not eligible to apply.
