The dead body of a woman was found in a farmhouse in Chevella suburb of Rangareddy district. The owner of the farmhouse, Mallareddy, discovered the body while digging holes for a pipeline. He got suspicious when a blanket appeared in the middle of the rocks, and upon further digging, he found the woman’s hands and legs. Mallareddy immediately informed the police.
The police started investigating the case and were able to solve it within 24 hours. They identified the woman as Shivalila alias Maisamma from Chevella village. The police revealed that she had been living separately from her husband for nine years and had met a couple named Satya and Kalpana at a toddy center. Shivalila asked them for work, and they took her to the farmhouse where they were working.
However, the couple got into a fight with Shivalila while they were drunk. They beat her with a stick, causing fatal head injuries. In a panic, they buried her in the farmhouse. The next day, when Mallareddy started digging holes for the pipeline, he discovered the body and immediately contacted the police. The police arrested the two accused.
The incident of murdering and burying a woman has gained attention locally.
