The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate N Sriganesh is expected to face a tough competition from BRS candidate Lasya Nanditha in the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency. Sriganesh is confident of winning and plans to address unresolved issues in the segment.
This is Sriganesh’s second time contesting from the Secunderabad constituency, which is the only SC-reserved constituency in Hyderabad district. In the previous elections, he lost but received a significant number of votes. Sriganesh, who was born on August 8, 1978, is a resident of Tukaram Gate, Secunderabad. He has been actively involved in community service through the Sriganesh foundation, providing assistance to people, particularly during the pandemic and every new academic year.
Speaking to The Hans India, Sriganesh expressed his confidence in winning and highlighted the importance of addressing the issues faced by various communities and organizations in the constituency. He emphasized that the Secunderabad Cantonment area lacks proper infrastructure in terms of roads, educational institutions, and health centers.
Sriganesh emphasized the need for government support to achieve proper development in the constituency. He mentioned that the State government has neglected the SCB for 30 years, resulting in insufficient funds for development. He aims to bridge this gap and utilize MLA funds effectively to bring about development on par with GHMC.
Since his nomination by the BJP, Sriganesh has started door-to-door campaigning and plans to actively engage with different communities in the constituency. His main goal is to develop Cantonment on par with GHMC and address the lack of funds for SCB’s development.
