BJP Organizes Mega Blood Donation Camp to Honor Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Centenary
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, held a Mega Blood Donation Camp at the old bus stand in Aiza Municipality, Jogulamba Gadwal district. The event was organized as part of the centenary celebrations of former Prime Minister Bharath Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The camp was inaugurated by BJP Jogulamba Gadwal District President S. Ramachandra Reddy, who paid floral tributes to a portrait of Shri Vajpayee. During the event, Reddy announced that the centenary celebrations would include various voluntary service programs throughout the year.
A significant highlight of the event was the overwhelming response from participants. Over 150 units of blood were donated, with many youth and local residents taking part enthusiastically. Certificates of appreciation were given to the donors as a gesture of gratitude. Reddy also recalled the party’s similar initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing their commitment to social service.
Several BJP leaders and members attended the event, including District Vice Presidents K.K. Reddy, District Officer Gongolla Eshwar, State Kisan Morcha Executive Member Bhimsen Rao, and Mandal President Gopala Krishna. Other key attendees were Aiza Town General Secretaries Kampati Bhagat Reddy and Pradeep Swami, District OBC Morcha General Secretary Venkatesh Yadav, and several town and constituency leaders.
The event garnered widespread participation and support, making it a successful tribute to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s legacy. It also served to promote the values of selfless service and community welfare among the participants.
