Hyderabad: BJP leader Dr. Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, who is the party’s co-incharge for Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, has accused Congress MP Rahul Gandhi of spreading false claims against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. According to him, Rahul Gandhi’s actions stem from jealousy. In a statement on Friday, Sudhakar Reddy alleged that the Congress leader is trying to distract the public from unfavorable outcomes for his party in the recently concluded elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
Dr. Reddy urged Rahul Gandhi to focus on addressing corruption in Congress-ruled states instead of making baseless accusations. He also raised suspicions about whether Rahul’s statements align with an agreement that the Congress party might have with China. Sudhakar Reddy further claimed that Modi’s growing reputation in India and abroad is the reason behind these attacks.
The BJP leader went on to criticize the Congress party, referring to it as the “Indian Commercial Congress” and accusing it of conspiring to tarnish reputations. He pointed out that the Adani Group has already provided clarification regarding the allegations made against it. Furthermore, he highlighted the irony that while Rahul Gandhi criticizes Adani, Chief Ministers in Congress-ruled states are welcoming the group with open arms and offering them support.
