Hyderabad:
BJP Kisan Morcha state president Kondapally Sridhar Reddy criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s government for disappointing farmers. He said the government imposed restrictions on the farmer loan waiver scheme.
On Wednesday, Sridhar Reddy attended the ‘Rythu Rachabanda’ program in Taramati Peta, Abdullahpurmet mandal, Ranga Reddy Rural district. He mentioned that the Congress government introduced many restrictions under GO No. 567, which excluded 60% of farmers from the loan waiver.
Despite this, Congress leaders are claiming that all loans have been waived off.
Sridhar Reddy urged farmers to organize and prevent Congress leaders from visiting their villages. He also mentioned that Union Minister and BJP State President Kishan Reddy launched a helpline to support farmers who feel betrayed by the Congress government. Thousands of affected farmers are registering their details.
Former Member of Parliament Boora Narsaiah Goud added that the BJP will continue to fight until all farmers receive a loan guarantee of two lakh rupees.
