In Hyderabad, BJP leaders and activists held a ‘Rythu Sathyagraha Deeksha’ to demand government action on issues faced by farmers. The protest took place at 30 locations with top leaders like Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and national vice-president DK Aruna participating.
During the protest in Sangareddy, MP Dr. Laxman criticized the government for not fulfilling promises made to farmers. He mentioned how Congress had failed to deliver on farm loan waivers in other states, leading to farmer unrest.
Dr. Laxman also criticized CM A Revanth Reddy for announcing a farm loan waiver that has not been implemented. He urged farmers not to resort to extreme measures like suicide and assured them of the party’s support.
The BJP leaders highlighted the financial assistance provided to farmers under various schemes by the Modi government. They emphasized the need for immediate government action on farmers’ issues and threatened to escalate the protest if their demands are not met.
