BJP demands resignation of KCR and urges Guv to act following TSPSC exam paper leak

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao following the recent question paper leak of an examination conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). The party leaders met with Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to request her intervention in the matter to safeguard the future of lakhs of candidates.

The delegation, led by former minister Eatala Rajender, accused the BRS government of negligence resulting in the paper leak. The BJP leaders expressed doubts about the functioning of CCTVs in the TSPSC office and demanded the resignation of the TSPSC Chairman and members, failing which the government should dismiss them.

The BJP leaders also demanded that the government order a probe by a sitting judge into the leak of question papers. Rajender stated that the Chief Minister should resign taking moral responsibility for the question paper leak. He further alleged that the Chief Minister was only interested in politics and had no concern for the lives of unemployed youth, adding that “this government is insensitive to the problems of youth.”

The BJP leader demanded that the TSPSC immediately re-conduct the four exams and pay Rs 1 lakh each to the candidates to enable them to prepare again for the exams. Meanwhile, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay alleged that the question paper leak had destroyed the future of 30 lakh unemployed individuals and questioned why the government was reluctant to order a probe by a sitting judge.
