Hyderabad: Union Minister Kishan Reddy called the BJP’s victory in the Jammu region “historic” as the party secured more seats and votes than ever before. He highlighted how the results of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections showed the people’s support for the BJP and their desire for a Congress-free Jammu and Kashmir.

He explained that the BJP’s success was a result of hard work by state party leaders and members at all levels. The party won the highest number of seats in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, and Reddy emphasized that the BJP will continue working with the people for the development of the region.

Kishan Reddy also noted that the people of Jammu responded strongly to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comments about Prime Minister Modi. He pointed out that the BJP’s win, with 29 out of 43 seats in the Jammu region, proved that people still have faith in Modi’s leadership. In contrast, Congress won only one seat, reinforcing the idea of a Congress-free Jammu.

BJP senior leader and former MLC N Ramachander Rao thanked the people of Jammu and Haryana for their trust in the BJP and Prime Minister Modi. He expressed hope that similar successes would follow in the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra.

Another senior BJP leader, Dr. Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, described the BJP’s victory in Haryana as a win for Modi. He said the people of Haryana rejected Congress’s propaganda and voted in favor of development.

Dr. Reddy also mentioned the unique conditions in Jammu but expressed confidence that the party would come to power there in the future. He dismissed the Congress’s criticism of the Election Commission, saying it had no merit.

BJP spokesperson N V Subhash praised the people of Jammu and Kashmir for showing faith in the democratic process by voting for the government of their choice. He emphasized that the BJP’s 29-seat win highlighted the people’s trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister Kishan Reddy.

Subhash also noted that these were the first elections in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370, and they were conducted successfully. He added that the results in Haryana were another significant achievement for the BJP, as the party won a comfortable majority with 49 seats.

Subhash criticized the Congress party, saying their confidence was misplaced and their “ego bubble” had burst. He mocked Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that both Rahul and his sister were absent on the results day because they knew their political strategy had failed.
