Bird Walk Festival Celebrates World Wetlands Day in Kagaznagar
On Sunday, the Kagaznagar Forest Division in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district hosted the Bird Walk Festival and Nature Trail to mark World Wetlands Day. The event attracted nature lovers and officials, including District Forest Officer (DFO) Neeraj Tibrewal, Kagaznagar Forest Divisional Officer (FDO) Sushant Sukhdev Bobade, and forest range staff, who came together to explore the region’s rich biodiversity.
The festival took participants to several picturesque locations within the forest division. These included Ellur Lake, Palarapu Hill, Gundepalli, Vempalli, Kosini Dam, and the Darigaon Forest Area. Around 40 nature enthusiasts joined the event, enjoying the beauty of the natural landscapes and spotting various bird species.
One of the most exciting activities was the Jungle Safari. This immersive experience allowed participants to connect with the region’s wildlife and left them captivated by the forest’s wonders.
Speaking about the event, FDO Sukhdev Bobade shared that thorough preparations had been made to ensure the success of the Bird Walk Festival, Nature Trail, and Jungle Safari. The goal was to provide visitors with a memorable experience in the Kagaznagar Forest Division.
