Bhu Bharati to Simplify Land Transactions: Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka

During his budget speech, Bhatti called the Bhu Bharati Act a historic reform. He stated that the law is designed to ensure transparency and eliminate land disputes. It will also fully protect the rights of landowners. To improve land administration, the government has approved 10,954 new village-level officer posts. These officers will help settle land-related issues quickly, making governance more effective.

The Deputy CM also highlighted the deep emotional value of land. He compared a person’s connection to their land to the bond with their mother or hometown. He criticized the previous government’s Dharani project, saying it caused many problems and left land-related issues unresolved. To fix this, the government has introduced new guidelines that give Tahsildars and RDOs the power to resolve land disputes more efficiently. This will make the grievance redressal process faster and more accessible for the people.
