Bhu Bharati Act will reflect people's aspirations: Ponguleti

Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that before implementing the Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights) Act, officials are considering everyone’s opinions.

To ensure people receive efficient and comprehensive revenue services, the Revenue Department is carefully framing rules and guidelines. They are also seeking advice and suggestions from experts.

The Minister emphasized that instead of making decisions only from the Secretariat, officials are widely consulting experts, intellectuals, and other officials. They are compiling all opinions to create strict and effective rules for the Land India Act.

He assured that the rules will be prepared and implemented as soon as possible. The department is committed to maintaining the same approach while finalizing the Act to provide effective services to the public.

Minister Ponguleti participated in the first day of a two-day workshop organized by the MCRHRD in Hyderabad. The workshop involved collectors and senior officials discussing procedures related to the Land Act.

He further explained that the Land India Act was developed to provide better and more comprehensive revenue services for the people of Telangana. This was done based on the ideas of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy after gathering public opinions on a large scale.
