Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav Attracts Large Crowds

The first day of the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav in Hyderabad saw a huge crowd at Rashtrapati Nilayam. The event is focused on celebrating the unique culture of India’s North-Eastern states.

The festival began with a dance performance called “Colours of the North East,” which showcased traditional dances from all eight states in the region. Many visitors were also drawn to the state pavilions, where they could view and buy local handicrafts. These stalls highlighted the rich artistry of North-Eastern artisans and attracted a lot of attention.

One of the most popular parts of the event was the live demonstration zone. Here, visitors got a chance to try out different crafts such as lotus silk weaving, pottery, and basket weaving. This hands-on experience helped people understand and appreciate the cultural heritage of the North East even more.

Another notable attraction was the Ashtalakshmi rangoli, a beautiful design representing the eight North-Eastern states. Visitors admired and enjoyed this colorful artwork.

The Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav will continue until October 6. Tickets can be booked online or purchased at the venue. For convenience, shuttle bus services are available from Paradise Metro station to Rashtrapati Nilayam.
