Bhadradri Prepares for Mukkoti Mahotsav with Grand Arrangements
The Bhadradri Sri Seetha Ramachandraswamy Devasthanam is gearing up for the grand Mukkoti Mahotsav, which has entered a key phase. On Thursday evening, a special raft float ceremony will be held in the Godavari River. Sri Seetha Ramachandraswamy will be placed on a beautifully decorated swan-shaped raft for the event. Preparations for this ceremony are already complete, and a successful trial run has been conducted.
On Friday morning, devotees will get a chance to witness Sri Seetha Ramachandraswamy at the North Gate in celebration of Mukkoti. The arrangements for this event are nearing completion. The North Gate has been freshly painted and adorned with lights. Additionally, it will be decorated with a variety of flowers on Thursday night to enhance its festive appearance.
Tickets for the special Uttaradwara Darshan are being sold both online and offline, allowing devotees to secure their spot. The surrounding areas of the temple have also been transformed to reflect the festive spirit. Welcome gates, Chandni Vastra decorations, and electric lamps are adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
The entire town of Bhadradri is buzzing with activity. Devotional hymns dedicated to Sri Rama can be heard everywhere. At the Mithila Stadium, artists are performing hymns by Bhakta Ramadasu and Tumu Narasimha Das during the evenings. Traditional classical dances and devotional plays are further enriching the festive celebrations, bringing joy and devotion to everyone in attendance.
