The Jayashankar Badi Bata programme will start on June 3 and last until June 30. The School Education Department officials have given instructions to teachers and officials to identify schools with low enrolment and create a plan to increase admissions. They will also conduct surveys to find children who are not in school and admit them to appropriate classes by their age. Parents and communities will be informed about the facilities offered by the state government under the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi program, including English medium education. The government will reward the top three districts and top 10 schools that successfully enroll a large number of children. School Heads of Departments (HMs) and Mandal Educational Officers (MEOs) are required to upload information about newly admitted children, those enrolled from Anganwadi centers, and those enrolled from private schools on the ISMS portal daily during the programme.
