Senior BRS leader Jogu Ramanna has criticized the Congress government in Telangana, saying it is being unfair to Backward Classes (BCs) through the caste census survey report. He claimed that the report has many mistakes and is part of a larger plan to suppress BCs.
Ramanna pointed out that the population of Other Castes (OCs) was recorded as 7% in 2014, but in the latest report, it has increased to 15.79%. He questioned this sudden rise and accused the government of changing the data to push BCs aside.
He also stated that BCs will show their strength in the upcoming local body elections and teach the Congress a lesson. Calling for unity, he urged BC communities to prepare for a political fight against the ruling party’s alleged discrimination.
