Nizamabad: Telangana BC Commission Chairman, G Niranjan, has announced that the commission will soon submit a report to the State government about local body reservations. This report will be based on public opinions and a detailed household survey. The goal is to ensure the report is scientifically accurate.
The commission, led by Chairman G Niranjan and members T Surender, R Jayaprakash, and Balalakshmi, held a public hearing in Nizamabad. They invited political parties, caste associations, and the public to share their views. The district administration, overseen by Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, helped organize the event.
A household survey will be conducted in November to understand the socio-economic conditions of the community. The results of this survey will help in finalizing the reservation proposals. The commission plans to submit the report to both the government and the state high court by December 9th.
For those who could not attend the public hearing, there is still a chance to share their suggestions. They can submit their inputs to the BC Commission office in Hyderabad by November 13th.
