Four soldiers were killed in a shooting at a military station in Bathinda, Punjab. The soldiers were sleeping in a barracks when the shooting occurred. A witness saw two men in white clothes leaving the barracks with a rifle and an axe. The police are investigating the incident, but it is not believed to be a terrorist attack. The Army Chief briefed the Defence Minister on the matter, and a court of inquiry will investigate the incident. The two suspected attackers fled towards a forested area.
