Bandi Sanjay surveys crops affected by damage

BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized the State government for not providing input subsidy to farmers affected by natural disasters. He also questioned why the government has not fulfilled all the promises made to farmers during the elections.

During his visit to Mustabad, Potugal, and Gambhiraopet areas in Rajanna Sircilla district, Bandi Sanjay inspected crop fields damaged by untimely rains. He spoke with affected farmers to understand the extent of crop damage and assured them of government assistance.

In a statement to the media, Bandi Sanjay highlighted that thousands of acres of crops have been affected in various villages across Rajanna Sircilla district and Karimnagar parliamentary constituency.

He criticized the Congress party for failing to fulfill promises made to farmers before coming to power, such as implementing a loan waiver scheme and providing financial assistance under Rythu Bharosa. Bandi Sanjay noted that even after 100 days in power, farmers affected by natural disasters are yet to receive compensation.

Bandi Sanjay demanded that the State government immediately provide Rs 20,000 per acre as assistance to farmers who have lost their crops.
