Bandi challenges Rahul on six-Gs, criticizes Congress for deceptive ads

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has challenged Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to conduct a padayatra (a foot march) and explain the status of the six guarantees his party promised in Telangana. He accused Congress of misleading people with false promises, both in Telangana and Karnataka, in order to win elections. Now, according to Bandi Sanjay, Congress is trying to deceive voters in Maharashtra with similar empty assurances and advertisements ahead of the assembly elections there.

During his visit to Rudrangi in Rajanna Sircilla district, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with district president Pratap Ramakrishna and state leader Chennamaneni Vikas Rao, inaugurated various development works. These projects, worth Rs 22 lakh, were funded through MPLADS (Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) and employment guarantee funds. He also visited the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple and offered special prayers.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Bandi Sanjay questioned Rahul Gandhi’s credibility. He pointed out that Rahul promised to deliver on six guarantees within 100 days but failed to do so. “What face does Rahul Gandhi have to come to Telangana? Does he have the courage to answer questions about the six guarantees or to organize a padayatra to address these promises?” he asked.

Commenting on Telangana Congress Chief A M Revanth Reddy’s Musi River issue, Bandi Sanjay said that during his own padayatra, he personally witnessed the pollution in the river. He claimed that the people of Yadadri district suffer from polluted water and lack clean drinking water. He criticized Congress for using the river project as an excuse to increase the budget to Rs 1.5 lakh crore, accusing them of doing so to earn commissions. He further stated that Telangana is already burdened with heavy debt, and adding another Rs 1.5 lakh crore in loans is unacceptable.

Additionally, Bandi Sanjay alleged that Telangana Congress is giving full-page advertisements in Maharashtra, falsely claiming to have implemented the six guarantees and waived farm loans. He compared this to how Telangana Chief Minister KCR used state funds during previous elections, claiming KCR spent Telangana’s resources on elections in Maharashtra and Punjab while neglecting Telangana farmers. According to Sanjay, Congress is similarly misusing funds to influence voters in Maharashtra.
