B Sanjay Kumar Elected President of DRTA Association
The Debt Recovery Tribunal Advocates’ Association recently held an election at the Abids tribunal office, where senior advocate B Sanjay Kumar was elected as the new president. On Friday, advocates felicitated Kumar on his new role.
During his speech, Kumar expressed his belief that welfare schemes for advocates should be given through the BRT Bar. Currently, BRT advocates are relying on other associations for such schemes, which has led to many problems for them. Kumar shared that the advocate-general and the founder president of the association, BS Prasad, have assured to provide funds from the advocates welfare fund to the DRT advocates.
Aside from Kumar’s election, other officials were also elected into their respective positions. Vijay Kumar was elected as vice-president, T Sridhar as general secretary, T Sridhar Reddy as joint secretary, V Ravinder as sports secretary, G Dinesh Kumar as treasurer, and T Randhir Singh as librarian. The executive members include Mukesh Tiwari, V Satyanarayana, J Narendra Kumar, and B Ramana Kumari.
Overall, the election was a success and the newly elected officials are expected to work towards the betterment of the association and its members.
