As part of this effort, a high-level team from Auburn University in Alabama, USA, visited PJTAU’s administrative building on Friday. The delegation was led by Dr. George Flowers, Dean of the Graduate School and Professor of Mechanical Engineering. They discussed possible collaborations between the two universities.

Dr. Janaiah shared that PJTAU plans to send up to 10 students to Auburn University and other top institutions for higher studies. He also mentioned that the university would request financial support from the state government to help students study abroad.

Last year, PJTAU and Auburn University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was facilitated by the former Vice-Chancellor and current Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, M. Raghunandan Rao.

Under this agreement, two PJTAU students have already been sent to Auburn University for higher studies. Their education is being supported financially by the state government.
