Six individuals involved in a conspiracy were arrested in different parts of the city on Friday and sent to jail. The police also plan to arrest Sirisha’s husband.
A man from London conducted a poison experiment on his wife who was in Hyderabad for her brother’s wedding. They were living separately due to personal reasons. Unfortunately, the mother-in-law lost her life as a result.
Dr. Shirisha got married to software engineer M Ajithkumar in 2018 and they settled in London. After having a daughter, Shirisha lodged a complaint with the London police due to escalating differences. They have been living apart since then.
The husband developed a grudge against his wife after she complained to the police about him. He wanted to kill her and her entire family. He convinced his friend Vinodkumar, who works with him in London.
Bhavanishankar, Ashok, Gopinath, and Purnender Rao conspired with Ajith’s friend and Shirisha’s relative. They took advantage of Shirisha’s visit to Hyderabad for her brother’s wedding and executed the plan. The apartment watchman’s son was paid to keep an eye on the house.
In the first attempt, three individuals went to Sirisha’s parents’ house with poison injections, but it failed. They then came up with a new plan and used sample packets of poisoned spice powders. Six people fell ill after consuming them, and Sirisha’s mother lost her life.
The conspiracy was exposed when Sirisha and her family members experienced unusual symptoms and underwent blood tests. Poison was found in their blood, leading Sirisha to file a complaint at the police station.
After examining CCTV footage from Shirisha’s house, the police detained and interrogated the apartment watchman’s son, Ramesh. This revealed the whole situation.
All six individuals involved in the conspiracy were arrested in different parts of the city and Sirisha’s husband, Ajith Kumar, who is the main accused in London, will also be arrested.
