Hyderabad: Minister D Sridhar Babu has alleged a conspiracy behind the attack on the Vikarabad District Collector. He assured that those responsible for the incident would be held accountable.
Speaking at a press conference in the Assembly premises, the Minister explained that the Collector had been engaging with farmers to understand and solve local issues. However, certain individuals had misled the farmers and incited them to attack as part of a pre-planned conspiracy. Sridhar Babu criticized the BRS party, accusing its leaders of obstructing the government’s efforts to improve public welfare.
He further stated that the government is investigating those behind these conspiracies and acts of intimidation. “Despite the government’s commitment to democratic principles, certain people who have lost their power are trying to hinder our good work,” he said.
Referring to recent industrial disruptions, Sridhar Babu claimed that the BRS leaders were attempting to block the government’s plans to set up industries. He suggested that the attacks on senior officials had political motivations and warned that anyone found responsible would face consequences.
The Minister expressed serious concern over the attack on the Vikarabad District Collector. He made it clear that the State government would not tolerate any form of violence or intimidation aimed at public servants. “We will soon reveal who planned this attack and how they plotted it over the last ten days,” Sridhar Babu assured.
