Speaking at a press conference held at Adivasi Bhavan on Wednesday, Ramulu Naik shared that he has been touring various districts to bring the Banjaras together. He has already conducted meetings with key leaders in seven districts and is working on detailed plans for the community’s progress.

Ramulu Naik highlighted that there are approximately 15 crore Banjaras living across the country. Despite their significant population and potential to influence governments, the community has been lagging in various fields due to a lack of unity. He stressed the need to utilize government welfare schemes effectively to enhance tribal properties, infrastructure, and other development initiatives.

He also proposed that a national holiday should be declared on the occasion of Sevalal Jayanti to honor the community’s cultural heritage. Additionally, he announced plans to hold a dharna at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on January 3, demanding that Rama Rao Maharaj be bestowed with the title of “Bharat Tarna.”

In January, a major conference will take place in Hyderabad, with participants from 26 states and an attendance of around 2,000 people. Prominent leaders, including CM Revanth Reddy, the Governor, and key ministers, are expected to attend the event. Community leaders such as Shyam Naik, Radhod Shankar, Ravinder, and others also participated in the press conference.
