Asad initiates development projects in 'Asli Hyd' after Revanth's visit

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s announcement for the development of Hyderabad’s Old City has led to the initiation of various projects in the Charminar area by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. In response to this, Asaduddin Owaisi, Hyderabad MP and leader of AIMIM, has inaugurated several works in the Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency.

Despite concerns about a lack of development in the Old City, many programs have been started to improve infrastructure, with more projects in the works. As Lok Sabha elections approach, Old City is seeing various development initiatives, with Asad Owaisi leading inaugurations of projects worth crores of rupees.

Following the CM’s promise to develop the Old City, the municipal administration is actively working on improving the South zone of the city. Asaduddin Owaisi has been focusing on developmental work in his Lok Sabha constituency, particularly in Bahadurpura, Charminar, and Yakutpura.

Recently, Asad inaugurated development projects worth Rs 1.46 crore in Falaknuma, Nawab Sahab Kunta, Jahanuma, Ramnasthpura, and DoodhBowli divisions under the Bahadurpura Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency. Additionally, he inaugurated works worth Rs 3 crore in Talab Chanchalam, Pathergatti, and Moghalpura divisions of the Yakutpura Assembly constituency.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board released a budget for water supply and sewerage line works after receiving complaints of water pollution in Yakutpura. Asad also inaugurated sewerage line projects worth Rs 1,35,03,000 in Yakutpura.

Under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP), progress has been made in improving the road network in the Old City area, with several flyovers and road construction projects completed. Significant investments have been made to enhance water supply in the region, with over Rs 1,200 crore allocated for these improvements. Additionally, the CM has approved Rs 200 crore for road widening projects in response to Asad’s representation.
