The Andhra Pradesh High Court is currently deciding whether or not to grant bail to former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam case. The Court has not yet announced a specific date for its judgment.
During the hearing, the Additional Advocate General argued against granting bail, citing recent medical reports that stated Naidu had a heart problem. The argument was that if Naidu was released on bail, he could potentially influence witnesses and tamper with evidence.
On the other hand, Naidu’s counsel argued that due to his ill health, Naidu needs regular contact with his doctors and would not be able to influence witnesses. They also claimed that the case against Naidu was politically motivated and intentionally brought against him by the Andhra Pradesh Government.
