AP and Telangana BJP Celebrate Victory in Delhi Assembly Elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating after its expected victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. Party members across the country, including those in Telugu states like Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Eluru, and Guntur, rejoiced by bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets. This win is historic for the BJP as it marks the first time in 27 years that their flag will be raised at the Delhi Fort.

Andhra Pradesh Medical and Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav called this victory a reflection of the public’s strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his efforts in campaigning for the alliance, which he believes played a crucial role in the win. Yadav stated that the people have rejected corruption, as shown by the defeat of top Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He described the election outcome as a lesson against dishonesty and a clear mandate for progress and development.

Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrashekhar also shared his thoughts on the results. He accused Kejriwal of breaking the trust of Delhi’s people by making false promises about welfare schemes. Chandrashekhar said that during the campaign, people began to shift their support towards the BJP, believing in its promise of change. He expressed happiness that areas where Chandrababu Naidu campaigned saw major victories for BJP candidates. He also criticised Kejriwal for failing to provide basic necessities like clean water and proper roads. Chandrashekhar added that Kejriwal’s inability to keep his promises led to his defeat, while also stating that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has lost credibility among the public.
