The Basic and Advance Military Training for the newly inducted Agniveers batch II at the Army Ordnance Corps Centre in Secunderabad has been successfully completed. The training of 232 Agniveers began on March 13, 2023, under the Agnipath Scheme launched by the Ministry of Defence on June 14, 2022. The Agniveers underwent a rigorous 24-week curriculum designed to achieve national goals. These soldiers have shown dedication, discipline, and physical prowess, making them outstanding warriors.
The Passing Out Parade (POP) took place at the AOC Centre Parade ground, showcasing precision and camaraderie. During this event, the soldiers took an oath and officially joined the Army Ordnance Corps. Brigadier Ajeet Ashok Deshpande, Commandant of the AOC Centre, and other military officials reviewed the grand event. The family members of the Agniveers were commended for their dedication and achievements during their training period. The Reviewing Officer also praised the competent instructors of the AOC Centre for shaping the Agniveers into skilled soldiers and organizing an excellent parade.
