Amit Shah urges TS party leaders to reconcile in order to gain double-digit seats

Union Minister Amit Shah urged party leaders in Telangana to work together to win more than 12 Parliament seats. He met with the State Election Working Committee members to discuss the state’s political landscape and emphasized the growing popularity of BJP and PM Narendra Modi in Telangana.

Shah pointed out areas where the party needs to improve, such as strengthening polling booths. There are around 7,000-10,000 weak polling booths out of 32,000 in the state, mainly in areas like the Old City in Hyderabad LS constituency and parts of Nizamabad, Nalgonda, and Khammam.

State leaders are working on strengthening booth committees in these weak areas. The entry of former Khammam MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao and new joinings from other parties are expected to help bolster party efforts.

The party aims to capitalize on the weakening strength of other political parties in several Assembly constituencies to strengthen its own position without giving an opportunity to the Congress.

Shah’s visit to Telangana comes after the Assembly polls, with a target of increasing the party’s vote share in LS elections to 35% and winning at least 10 seats. He also emphasized the need for party social media heads to highlight the achievements and success stories of the Modi government over the past decade, focusing on empowering various sections of society and addressing issues like poverty and development.

Earlier in the day, Shah and State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy visited the Bhagya Lakshmi temple at Charminar to offer prayers.
